Observatory Tower comes with a very assessable publication/expression platform for everyone; especially writers and folklore tellers. We therefore introduce to you a platform that will launch you into the world of research, observation; study and expressing that very feel from your unexplored imaginations. This publication/expression platform is a plinth for enthusiast, readers and reviewers all over the world to express themselves and share their views and even portray their capabilities here to possess the sole bragging rights of Observatory Tower Universe. It also serves as an opportunity for readers and reviewers, observers and even writers and artists all over to try themselves against each other for the sole purpose of getting to know other personalities in related fields and compare abilities with each other so as to develop themselves wherever they so deem fit.

However, Observatory Tower presents four trending “Lords of the Best” platform (more like a competition), involving four Champion stages for the different abilities we hereby recognize and value:



Magic Hands: Magic Hand also known as “The Universal Manipulator” is referred to as a personality or person who has the intense ability to control and manipulate his universal surroundings and gifts. Here Obtowers’ Magic Hands will emerge from those who have been able to utilize these abilities (i.e. thinking up a plot or theme for a story, eventually writing them down and finally expressing them with your graphical imaginations on ink and paper or in print). In order to emerge as the winner of Magic Hands as the Universal Manipulator, there are criterion and conditions to be met.



Talk Lords: Talk Lord also known as “The Blessed Blabber” is referred to a person who has this usurping crave for knowledge and provocative mandate to share what they know, hear or perceive. They are known as persons who within the realms of the ordinary craft out words that will thrill your hearts out and widen your prospects to the depths of reality and fantasy. They are so called “The Blessed Blabber” because they are so gifted in the knowledge and ideas that would change the histories and legends of time that just can’t afford to keep quiet about it, and even when they try, they just can’t help it. The words from their mouth, their broadened mind and experience though at times annoying and provocative and even discouraging, and at other times, encouraging and enlightening, will open the very gates for readers and reviewers and even gifted artist to peruse the perfect stories, articles, reviews (read how). Here at Obtowers, a winner in all must emerge and crowned “Talk Lord” or “The Blessed Blabber”.



Mighty Giant: Mighty Giant also known as “The Dynamic Possessor” refers to a person who has the abilities of the Magic Hands and Talk Lords in one. Well, not all good artists are exceptional story tellers/writers and not all surprising story tellers/writers are amazing artists, but in some cases exceptions are made in cases where few rare persons are naturally and miraculously gifted in both aspects and if not already, will surpass the limitations of having both abilities. Thos is to help examine most artists and writers who think and feel that they have what it takes to write a good story and at the same time express them in thorough sketches and neat inking, that they may be wrong (Not every artist is a musician and an actor or actress, and vice versa). However, entries are made into this level of Honor and stardom separate from earlier entries which requires entering for just one of the champion stages alone and getting to become Lord of that realm.



Megatron: Megatron also known as “The Ultimate Warrior” refers to persons who persistently and relentlessly tries as much as possible to retain his/her position as champion of Mighty Giants for a minimum of three (3) times in a row. However, this level’s difficulty to attain might increase from time to time so Champions, beware! And Good luck, Let’s hope you can.



EDITORIAL PHASE

All contents to be submitted to Observatory Tower will have to go through the Editorial phase (Preliminary stages) before being accepted for competing in these grand stages (Champion stages). This is to allow for effective screening of contents to be displayed on Observatory Tower throughout the span of the competitions which takes place twice every month. Good thing is that even though your content does not make it past the preliminary stages or even emerging out as winner, the editorial team will surely send you feedbacks concerning your contents and the reasons they had not made it through the preliminary stages. However, it is not a period to get sad or pale but to even work harder on developing your skills and abilities.

It is also important to note that contents must be original and owned by champions, if not please do make relevant citations to original owners or participant you may have entered for on their behalf. If contents are for publishing companies please do make appropriate citations to them. But, contents MUST be original and thought of/created by participants.



CRITERIA

The following criteria must be adhered to:

(1) Stories and Articles must not be more than 2000 words

(2) Stories and Article font style must be Times New Roman at font size 12

(3) Article title must in itself be suitable, entertaining and educative to give a general idea of the argument in the article.

(4) Arts/graphical expressions should not be more than 20 pages (15 minimum)

(5) Contents must be strictly entertaining and generic; no vulgar contents would be allowed to go through the editorial phase.

(6) Ideas have to be original unless stated otherwise

(8) Name of Participant(s) and affiliation(s) must be included just below the title.

(9) No article processing fees

(10) Articles will be reviewed by the editorial team Mangafrique Comics, Supar Dyke Incorporated, Kpoto Comics and Observatory Towers, and a whole lot of external reviewers, and deemed fit for online publishing before publishing itself commences.

(11) Effort must be made by the participants in ensuring that article destined for submission is properly edited before final submission online.


ELIGIBILITY:
Anyone who has a good command of English Language and with an affiliation is qualified to make a submission.
